I am usually asked by people who know me and even random social media followers, “where’s your next travel destination?”

Well, where do you think is the next best place for that much-needed break?

Apparently, the world is so vast and there are so many beautiful destinations that could prolong your so called, bucket list. The last time I checked on the number of countries that we could visit was 196 (or 195, as others don’t consider Taiwan as an official country despite it operates as an independent nation, and of course, I want to visit it someday!). And because of occasional seat sales mostly from budget airlines, availability of travel aggregator sites and whatnot, we could be seduced to travel easily and hop from one country to another if only we’re not limited by our personal responsibilities, financial resources, duties at work, tedious visa application processes, and other serious factors that involve safety and security.

With very limited budget and a short life to live, I don’t think I could travel to even as half as the number of available countries to visit, unless there’ll be chances that’ll make things possible (such as winning a lottery perhaps!). The goal is not to travel to as many destinations as possible, but to experience and learn as much!

And that is why I am highly selective of my trips.

Before I disclose my next travel destination, allow me to be thankful for having visited 34 countries to date (I know, it’s not even a worthy fraction of 196!) in Asia, Europe, South and North America, and Africa.

I have decent and *clears throat*, postcard-worthy photos from each destinations on my files except for the following countries :

  • Bendar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, April 2005.
  • Auckland, New Zealand, April 2005.
  • California & Nevada, USA, April 2000.

Wherever you are going next, have a safe trip. Truly, truly appreciate all your posts.

I replied to one of your post, (think last year) told you I have been following you since 2009.
Of all your posts, I am interested about your stay at Quincy in Singapore. Just last month, I am seriously thinking of flying there with my Kano husband. You see, I am also following a blog by Rica Tantoco Lopez de Jesus (Rustan family). Her family took a trip to Copenhagen last July to board the ultra-luxury cruise ship Regent seven seas explorer to ten countries and ended in Sweden. From Pinas, her family took Qatar Airways to Copenhagen and said that’s the best one they ever flew. I just have to fly business class with Qatar Miami – Singapore to experience flying an award winning aircraft.
August 2016 she blogged about their luxury Alaska cruise aboard Crystal Serenity so I booked it last June 2017 my birthday gift for my husband. We loved it so much we are going again aboard Crystal Serenity on a 14 day Caribbean Cruise December 6, 2017. And that ultra -luxury cruise ship Regent s. s. Explorer, I booked that for March 11, 2018.
I guess, next would be Singapore. I would find out when the weather is mild as we are both senior citizen and can’t take the heat LOL.
Next after Singapore would be Dubai. My sister had been to Dubai and told me I would find my weakness there, gold jewelries he he. You see I worked for the U S Air Force and I was TDY (temporary duty) in Saudi. I loved the Souk there where I bought all kinds of gold jewelries. I will let you know when we are going and we will treat you to a good dinner, OK ba? Sige Doc, ingat ka lang sa mga trips mo.

Thank you for taking time to read and follow my blog.

I am far from being luxury traveler, in fact, I am exactly the opposite. I have no cash to burn but wanderlust to enjoy.

I will be traveling to Buenos Aires and Patagonia in mid September on a sponsored trip. I hope everything goes well.
